MIAMI COUNTY, Ind. – The cross necklace stolen from a truck containing the ashes of a 19-year-old was found Friday afternoon.
Mike Arbuckle’s cross, containing his son’s ashes, was stolen from his truck in late March near Grissom Air Force Base.
The necklace was placed back into the truck, said Tess Brass, the mother of Arbuckle’s son.
“Crying like a big baby, someone had a heart and brought him back,” Arbuckle wrote on Facebook.
Brass and Arbuckle lost their son, Patrick Arbuckle Jr., in 2015.

A $475 reward was offered following the theft by Tishia Pickett, owner of Itty Bitty Acres Country Décor & Gifts and her customers.
