UPDATE: The children were found safe around 4:30 Monday afternoon. The sheriff's office says they were hiding in a tree and came out when they saw someone looking around the area.
PORTER COUNTY, Ind. -- Two young juveniles have been reported missing from their northern Indiana home.
The Porter County Sheriff's Office is looking for 9-year-old Samuel Orshonsky and 7-year-old Charley Orshonsky.
The pair was last seen by their mom at midnight Monday morning at their residence on Streamwood Drive and CR 325 E in rural Washington Township.
Samuel is described as 5-feet tall, 70 pounds with short blonde hair and black framed glasses. He was last seen wearing a light blue one piece abominable snowman pajamas.
Charley is described as 4-feet-10-inches tall, 56 pounds with shoulder-length wavy, dirty blonde hair, brown eyes and her front teeth are partially in. She was last seen wearing a ‘My Pony’ one-piece pajama outfit.
Extra bags from their closet and clothing is also reported missing, so the children may have changed clothes.
No foul play is suspected, but the children are not considered habitual runaways.
Anyone with any information on the whereabouts of these children or has seen them, is asked to call the Porter County Sheriff’s Office at 219-477-3170.
