Hundreds of people in downtown Indianapolis for InterPride World Conference

INDIANAPOLIS -- Hundreds of people are descending on downtown Indianapolis this weekend for the InterPride World Conference

The event, which runs October 5 - 7 at the Westin Hotel, is a place for LGBTQ people to network and share ideas on promoting pride around the world. 

The InterPride World Conference started Thursday and runs through the weekend. Several talks, conferences and get-togethers are planned during the three-day event. 

According to Indy Pride, InterPride is the international organization that ties Pride together globally. Their Vision is one of full cultural, social and legal equality for everyone. InterPride’s Mission is Empowering Pride Organizations Worldwide and their members are dedicated volunteers who work to organize Pride events all over the world.
