INDIANAPOLIS -- Students at Wayne Township’s Bridgeport Elementary School are receiving a lesson in giving.
Through November 30, the school will accept donations from staff and students that will be given to homeless families.
Each grade will take part and the one that donates the most, will receive a surprise gift at the end of the drive.
Items that are needed include: Casual adult and children’s shoes, toothpaste and tooth brushes, towels, wash cloths, lotion, bar soap, deodorant, shampoo, conditioner, combs and brushes.
Donation boxes will be placed in the school cafeteria.
