INDIANAPOLIS -- A man was hospitalized after he was shot in the back on Indianapolis' northeast side Friday morning.
The man said he was walking in the 4300 block of North Sheridan Avenue when he was shot.
Police say he has two wounds, but the bullet may have gone through him.
When police found him, he was able to speak but neither he nor nearby neighbors are cooperating with police.
What police have been told is that a dark-colored car quickly drove away with no lights on. It could've been a Ford Mustang or Chevy Camaro.
Rifle casings were found in the area. Police also found bullet holes in a nearby parked car.
