INDIANAPOLIS -- Mayor Joe Hogsett wants to spend $200 million over four years to fix the worst streets and sidewalks in Indianapolis, but it's only a fraction of what is needed.
The city estimates it would cost $2.7 billion to make all the necessary repairs.
A spokeswoman says the Department of Public Works will make sure the mayor's infrastructure plan will cover needs in every district.
The DPW will submit a list of streets and sidewalks to city-county council by the end of the week.
To submit your request for a street or sidewalk repair, you can call the Mayor's Action Center at (317) 327 - 4MAC, weekdays from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m, orgo online to Request Indy.
Then there's the good old fashioned way to make a repair request - mail it to the Mayor's Action Center, 200 E. Washington Street, Suite 2160, Indianapolis, 46202.
