FISHERS, Ind. -- Emergency crews pulled a body from the White River behind Conner Prairie in Fishers Friday morning.
The body was spotted in the water just after 11 a.m. Emergency officials pulled the body from the water, but have not said how the person died, nor was the body identified.
The body was located in a remote and tree-covered area of the river.
On Friday afternoon, Department of Natural Resources officials identified the deacesed as Mohamed Asif, 55, of Carmel.
An autopsy was scheduled for Saturday morning in Noblesville.
