Semi fire causes I-65 to shut down in Boone County

BOONE COUNTY, Ind. – A semi-truck fire caused I-65 to shut down in Boone County Sunday afternoon.

The fire was near the 147-mile marker, near the State Road 47/146 exit. Traffic was backed up for several miles.

One lane reopened a little after 5:30 p.m.

Police are still investigating the cause of the fire.
