Bike to Work Day

To create a more engaged bike-friendly city, Friday has been designated as Bike to Work Day in Indy. The City Market East Plaza will offer bike activities and light refreshments from 7-9 a.m.

Broad Ripple Art Fair

Saturday and Sunday beginning at 10 a.m.
The 47th annual Broad Ripple Art Fair kicks off this Saturday presenting art by more than 200 artists. The fair will also include live music, food, and beer.

Chalk Festival
Garfield Arts Center – 2432 Conservatory Drive
Saturday from 10 a.m. - 4 p.m.
Help decorate Garfield Park by creating your own sidewalk art using chalk. Adults and teens can register for the chalk decoration competition, but all ages are invited to show off their creations.

Rainbow 5K Run and Walk
Indianapolis Firefighters Union Hall -748 Massachusetts Avenue
Saturday at 7 p.m.
Hosted by Indy Pride Inc., this 5K event will support Indiana Youth Group’s Power Safe capital campaign – which supports LGBTQ youth.

Hop on your bike and take a historic tour of Irvington, a National Register-listed historic district. The tour will feature a variety of home styles, and tour guides will introduce you to those who have stories from the past to share.
