Impossible Foods recently teamed up with companies like Burger King and Little Caesars to provide meatless menu items, but rumors that Arby's would also hop on the plant-based bandwagon are not true.
Arby’s president Rob Lynch told Fortune that the chain will never offer a meatless option “on [his] watch,” and that the only way it would happen is if he got fired.
Lynch believes embracing the latest meatless trend would completely muddle Arby’s meat-centered image.
Arby’s reportedly sells 160 million pounds of meat annually across 3,300 worldwide locations.
