Things to do with Mom on Mother’s Day
The Indianapolis Zoo
- The Indy Zoo is celebrating all mothers – human and animal alike – over Mother’s Day weekend. The zoo will recognize mothers from the moment they enter the zoo with special treats, events and even a scavenger hunt throughout the day both Saturday and Sunday.
The Children’s Museum
- The Indianapolis Children’s Museum is celebrating Mother’s Day by giving the first 200 moms who visit the museum on Sunday a free “Legendary Mom” tote bag.
The Tinker House
- Mom’s Mimosas and Modern Calligraphy: A Special Mother’s Day Workshop begins at 2:30 p.m.
The Indiana Repertory Theatre: “You Can’t Take It With You”
- The theatre will offer $4 MOMosas for both performances.
Newfields
- Head outside and stroll around the gardens at Newfields from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. for Mother’s Day at Newfields where you can make your own MOMosa and gourmet sweet treats in the Beer Garden. You can also make a reservation for the High Tea with Mom that includes a five-course prix fix menu.
