INDIANAPOLIS — The best burgers in Indianapolis can be found at the "Gallery Pastry Shop" and "Binkley's Kitchen & Bar" because they're the 2020 champs of the Indy Burger Battle.
Both a virtual and in-person battle took place from July 31 and August 9. Nearly 400 ticket holders participated and voted to determine the People's Choice Champion — Binkley's "La Jefa" burger.
There were a total of four judges who determined the Critics' Choice Champion — Gallery Pastry Shop's "Foie Burger."
The Indy Burger Battle is in its eighth year and is hosted by Indianapolis-based nonprofit, "Building Tomorrow." The philanthropic works to promote quality and inclusive education for children in rural Uganda.
