Rockers Motorhead have thanked fans for supporting sick guitarist Phil Campbell after his hospitalization last week (ends29Nov15) prompted the band to axe two shows in Germany.
Lemmy's group had been due to perform in Berlin on Friday (27Nov15), but the gig was canceled shortly before they were due to take to the stage as Campbell had fallen ill.
No further details about the musician's health battle have been revealed, but the band went on to scrap a second show in Germany which had been due to take place in Hamburg on Saturday night (28Nov15).
After they confirmed the gig would be rescheduled for 9 December (15), the rockers reached out to their fans and thanked them for sending so many nice messages to Campbell during such a difficult time.
"Thank you for all the well wishes for @MotorheadPhil," the band tweeted.
The stars of Motorhead have endured a tough few months as Lemmy was struck down with a lung infection which halted the band's tour, prompting the rockers to axe six dates in September (15).
They were also left reeling from the death of their former drummer Phil Taylor, who passed away on 11 November (15) at the age of 61, and just days later, they had to call off a show in Paris, France following the devastating terrorist attacks in the city.
