INDIANAPOLIS – Indianapolis will be invited to meet, drink and pong this fall when the city’s first ping pong café opens downtown.

Customers can enjoy fresh-brewed coffee, craft beer, wine and sharpen their ping pong skills morning, noon or night when Smash Social opens at 600 East Ohio Street.

New players will have the chance to take advantage of a 14-day free trial. Daily prices are listed at $15; monthly priced at $50; and annual memberships at $500.

Packages include unlimited open play, the ability to reserve tables, discounts on guest passes, t-shirts, ping pong balls and more.

Smash organizers said membership packages aren’t a requirement to play.

It isn’t clear exactly when Smash will open.
