In case you somehow hadn’t heard, Disney’s “Frozen 2” is hitting movie theaters on Nov. 22. Anticipation for the sequel to the blockbuster 2013 original has been building for years and fans can’t wait to find out the next chapter of the royal sisters’ story.

Count James Corden among those people, as the late-night talk show host recently proved on his CBS series, “The Late Late Show.”

Never one to miss out on a musical opportunity, Corden decided to round up his merry band of players to produce another exciting show for his popular “Crosswalk Musical” sketch series. Corden has hit viral video status with previous “Crosswalk Musical” sketches, including versions of “Les Miserables” and “Beauty and the Beast” performed on Los Angeles crosswalks for stopped drivers during lengthy red lights.

You really need to see it to believe it. Here’s one the show did for Disney’s “Aladdin” recently, as shared on Instagram by choreographer Chloe Arnold.

More recently, though, the entire main cast from “Frozen 2” decided to be good sports and join in on the impromptu musical fun. That’s right! Idina Menzel (Elsa), Kristen Bell (Anna), Jonathan Groff (Kristoff) and Josh Gad (Olaf) were all on hand to step onto the great white crosswalk way.

In fact, this was Gad’s second time crossing the street in a Corden production. He made appearances as LeFou and Lumiere during the “Beauty and the Beast” version of “Crosswalk Musical.”

At first, during the sketch, it looked like Corden would steal the spotlight from Menzel by claiming the role of Elsa and delegating Menzel to the role of Sven the Reindeer. Menzel looked a little confused at first but took the demotion in stride.

“I mean before I sing Elsa songs I have to warm up for at least an hour and I drink tea and I have to get my sleep and I have the humidifier in my room,” Menzel said during the segment. “And that’s on top of the years of training I’ve done leading up to this. But, you know, James just got a blonde wig, so it’s basically the same.”

And, while Corden turned in an … interesting performance as the Ice Queen in the first scene the cast hilariously pushed back and insisted the rightful Elsa take her place on the street stage. Lucky motorists even got a sneak peek of a new song from the “Frozen 2” soundtrack from Kristoff and Olaf!

Here’s the full, 11-minute “Crosswalk Musical” production of “Frozen.”

We particularly liked the iconic “Let it Go” moment at the end where Elsa proudly stands on a car, because that’s what divas do, right?
