INDIANAPOLIS — Gymboree will close all of its Indiana locations and hundreds more across the country after the company filed for bankruptcy.
The retailer based in San Francisco filed for Chapter 11 Bankruptcy protection late Wednesday evening, according to ABC News.
The filing comes just days after a report surfaced indicating that the retailer would close most of its stores.
The San Francisco company said late Wednesday that it will close all of its Gymboree and Crazy 8 stores and attempt sell its Janie and Jack business, intellectual property and online business.
This is the second time that Gymboree has filed for bankruptcy in 18 months. In July 2017, the retailer closed 350 stores when it filed for bankruptcy.
