IHOP Is Serving Milk ‘n’ Cookie Pancakes This Fall

The International House of Pancakes, known affectionately as IHOP, has done some sweet things with traditional breakfast foods. The restaurant chain has transformed the basic pancake by introducing various flavors, including breakfast cereal, Grinch-themed pancakes and more. Now, as part of IHOP’s fall menu, the restaurant is moving a favorite afternoon snack to the breakfast plate: cookies and milk!

The new Milk ‘n’ Cookies stacks are part of a limited-time-only collection of confectionary pancakes. True to their name, they look more like dessert than breakfast!

The regular stack of Milk ‘n’ Cookies pancakes comes with four of the classic IHOP buttermilk pancakes filled with OREO cookie pieces and then layered with sweet milk mousse. If that wasn’t enough, the pancakes are then topped with more sweet milk mousse, vanilla sauce drizzle, more OREO cookie pieces and a generous sprinkle of powdered sugar.

These pancakes sound as if they taste the way an OREO does after you dunk it in a tall, creamy glass of milk. Is anyone else feeling in the mood for milk and cookies now?

They are part of the IHOP’s limited-time fall menu, which includes two other returning flavors that are a little more reminiscent of the season.

First, there are the IHOP Pumpkin Spice pancakes, because you can’t have fall without pumpkin spice, right?

Pumpkin Spice Pancakes are made with real pumpkin and seasonal spices (we’re guessing cinnamon and nutmeg are in there) and include a nice dollop of whipped topping to complete the sweet treat.

Finally, if cinnamon rolls are your thing, then you’ll want to try out the special Cinn-a-Stack pancakes at IHOP.

The Cinn-a-Stack starts with buttermilk pancakes topped with a cinnamon-sugar spread. Next, you’ll find a drizzle of cream cheese icing, just like you would on a cinnamon roll. And, of course, you get whipped topping to round it all out.

Oh, and if you’re feeling really adventurous, you can substitute the pumpkin pancakes for buttermilk in your Cinn-a-Stack. That would probably be risking a fall flavor overload. But, who are we to judge? It would probably be worth it!

Also new this year is the Cookies ‘n Cream Hot Chocolate, which has toasted marshmallows and is crowned with Oreo cookies and whipped topping. The kids’ menu also gets some new items, including a new Lil’ Cookie Kid’s Combo, New Lil’ Cookie Hot Chocolate and a Mr. Mummy pancake.

Not sure when’s the best time to come? If you’re unavailable during breakfast hours, you might want to consider showing up between 2-10 p.m., which is iHoppy Hour at IHOP now. During this limited-time event, you can get certain meals for $5 (or $6, in some markets), $3 snacks, and $1 (or $1.50) drinks. Not all locations are participating yet, but IHOP says more will be rolling out in the next few weeks.
