IMPD locate man who walked away from medical center

UPDATE | IMPD says the man has been "safely returned" to Midtown Health medical center.

Police in Indianapolis are asking for the public's help to locate a man who went missing from a medical treatment center on Tuesday.

Maurice Robinson was last seen at Midtown Health located at 1700 N Illinois around 2 p.m. Police say he was inside the building but at some point left with an unknown direction of travel.

Robinson lives in the area of 21st Street and Arlington Avenue and was last seen wearing a black hoodie and gray sweatpants.

Police say Robinson has dementia and Alzheimer symptoms but does not take any medication for either. He does not have a phone or a vehicle and is transported to and from Midtown by either staff or a Care vehicle.
