INDIANAPOLIS – Owners of CoreLife Eatery invite customers to grab a bowl and eat their way to a healthier lifestyle as they will open their first Indiana location on Indy’s north side in July.

The 3,400 square-foot restaurant in The Shoppes at River’s Edge, at 4335 E. 82nd Street, challenges everyone who walks through the door to live an active lifestyle through exercise and their food choices.

CoreLife offers several types of nutritious bowls that can be filled with whole grains, broths, greens and noodles (for the little ones.)

Diners will experience a fast-casual assembly line where they can add vegetables, meats and other toppings to their DIY bowls. Specialty bowls, like the southwest grilled chicken and wild rice bowl, will also be available with calories ranging from 240-650.

The eatery prides itself on its GMO-free meats and ingredients without high fructose corn syrup, trans fats, sweeteners, additives, artificial colors or flavors.

Soon after opening its first location in Syracuse in May 2015, several others opened in Ohio, Pennsylvania and Kentucky.

According to FastCasual.com, restaurant veteran Melissa Rohwer plans to open 10 Indiana locations over the next four years. CoreLife will also expand to Michigan, North Carolina and Utah.

"If I'm going to put my heart and soul into something, it has to be worthwhile. I quickly saw that CoreLife Eatery fit with my goals and beliefs, and am confident that is a strong investment," Rohwer said in a media release, according to Fast Casual. "This will be a game changer for my corporation."
