Food on the Flye: A visit to Chef Oya's The Trap

I kept hearing about this seafood place in Indy at 34th Street and Keystone Avenue called Chef Oya's The Trap.

I dropped in and picked up a little snack - lobster tail, crab legs, shrimp, corn on the cob, potatoes, broccoli and a boiled egg.

The food was all smothered in Chef Oya's signature Trap Buttah OG Garlic Herb seasoning sauce, one of four flavors offered.

Let me tell you, it tastes as good as it looks, fresh and savory. It's a simple setup - just a walk up window in a small parking lot.

I ordered, waited a few minutes, and left with this:

Chef Oya herself took my order. She's a super sweet, warm spirited woman creating what she calls "deliciously dope seafood."

I took it to work to eat it, and every time I opened the lid, and showed someone I got the same reaction: "Oh. My. Gosh! (mouth falls open)."

You can find all the details on Chef Oya's website and Instagram page.
