I’ve been checking out Taco Wednesday at Tex-Mex on the city's south side for the past few weeks with my co-worker Gant, who clued me in on the Wednesday $1 taco special.
The chicken tacos are my favorite, right now. The chicken is seasoned just right.
The seasoned pork and the chorizo tacos are delicious too. Gant likes the steak tacos the best. We’ve tried several of the 10 different selections, and you really can’t go wrong.
Place your order on the supermarket side of the building, take your ticket to the pick-up window, and it’s ready minutes later. On this day, tacos that are normally $1.75 are $1.25.
There are a few booths for you to eat-in or you can carry out. We usually eat there, and then place carry-out orders to take to co-workers who couldn’t break away from their duties back at the studio.
