Alzheimer's disease is a terrible condition, but if caught early, the progression can be slowed and it can be managed better.
IU Health Neurologist and IU School of Medicine Alzheimer’s Researcher Dr. Liana Apostolova says these are the six symptoms you need to watch out for.
1. Memory Loss
Showing repetitive behaviors - asking same question and telling the same stories over and over again
Losing common objects
2. Person becomes more volatile
3. A person’s judgment becomes less acute
Example: Driving skills and paying bills on time
4. More gullible for scams
5. In the earliest stages, withdrawal is a sign to watch out for - For instance, a person becomes disinterested and socially detached (homebody).
6. Getting frustrated when memory is lapsing or having to multi-task
