INDIANAPOLIS — Every year you'll find Janet Easley and Bobbie Jones at the Watkins Family Center in Indianapolis.

Together, they lead more than 200 volunteers in preparing, packing, and delivering more than 8,000 Thanksgiving meals. The ladies are lovingly known as Aunt Janet and Aunt Bobbie.

Their mutual goal to battle hunger with heart and humility.

This year, they pivoted their plans to a drive-thru to continue filling a critical need during the pandemic.

Aunt Janet and Aunt Bobbie were presented with the distinguished Jefferson Award for Multiplying Goods.
