INDIANAPOLIS — A new recall was issued this week for more eye drops that may not be sterile.

Altaire Pharmaceuticals Inc. has voluntarily recalled 30 different types of over-the-counter eye drops that were sold at CVS.

The newest recall comes after several other eye drops and ointments by the same company that were recalled from Walgreens and Walmart. The recall included various Equate products, including for allergy relief, solutions, eye drops and gel drops -- all manufactured and labeled for Walmart. The company also recalled several Perrigo prescription ointments listed on the FDA website.

For Walgreens, Altaire recalled several over-the-counter and prescription eye drops and ophthalmic ointments, including moisturizing eye drops, sodium chloride ophthalmic ointment, sodium chloride ophthalmic solution and lubricant eye ointment. The products were under the brand name Walgreens.

The company says all recalls are precautionary and they have not had any illnesses or adverse side effects reported at this time.

The newest recalled eye drops were manufactured and labeled exclusively for CVS. You can find a full list of the affected eye drops here.
