INDIANAPOLIS — Indianapolis police are investigating after a group of protesters were struck by a vehicle on Monument Circle on Monday.

Video from the scene shows a gray van driving through the Circle and hitting several protesters without stopping. Bystanders can be seen running after the van.

A public information officer for the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department said the driver of the van was cooperating with police. Two other people were being questioned.

Police said a window or windows on the van were broken. It was not clear whether that happened before or after the protesters were hit.

Monday was the 11th straight day of downtown Indianapolis protests, following the death of George Floyd in Minneapolis.
