INDIANAPOLIS — Healthcare workers in Indianapolis are holding what they are calling a 'White Coats for Black Lives' rally and protest near the hospital complex on the west side of downtown.
Organizers said systemic racism is a public health crisis and the mission of the rally is to dismantle racism in medicine and promote the health, well-being and self-determination of people of color.
The healthcare workers were asked to wear their white coat inside out so no logos were showing.
