ARIZONA — A phone app led to the discovery of a secret relationship between an Arizona teenager and his teacher.

The teacher's arrest was captured on police body camera (in the video player above).

27-year-old, Brittany Zamora, is accused of sexually abusing her 13-year-old student. Officials said Zamora began illicit communications with the teenager by using a school messaging app. The student told authorities innocent messages quickly turned to flirting, by text and then in person.

"She would be like 'OMG I love you' and I would tell her I love her, too," the 13-year-old said. "And then she was like talking about how she wanted to do stuff with me."

Investigators said their relationship did get physical. The teen's parent's uncovered the abuse after installing an app called "Sentry" on his phone.

The app monitors activity on teenagers cell phones, flagging keywords that appear in text messages.

One day, Sentry flagged repeated use of the word "baby." After reading the messages, the parents confronted their son.

Zamora has pleaded not guilty and surrendered her state teaching license.
