Columbus police want to question man in woman's death

COLUMBUS — Columbus police are asking for the public's help in finding a man detectives want to question in the death of a woman last year.

The body of 21-year-old Araceli Jaimes Macedo was found on the shoulder of northbound I 65, south of State Road 46, just before 9pm on September 17.

She was from Lexington, Kentucky and died of what police said was "blunt force trauma."

At the time of her death, police released a photo of the woman, along with pictures of tattoos on her body.

Detectives now have a photo of the man they want to question, Alejandro Espinoza Ocampo.
