INDIANAPOLIS -- Three teens were shot in downtown Indianapolis Saturday night.

Indianapolis police said they found an 18-year-old male, 17-year-old male, and 17-year-old female all suffering from at least one gunshot wound near the intersection of Capitol Avenue and Ohio Street.

Evidence led investigators to believe the incident was a drive-by shooting, but the motive is still unknown. However, detectives believe it was a targeted attack.

Medical personnel transported the victims to IU Methodist and Eskenazi Hospitals. The two males were listed as stable, and the female was listed in critical condition.

Detectives said the investigation is ongoing and have not released any information on a suspect.

This is the second incident within one week where teens were a victim of gun violence. Last Sunday, two teens were shot inside of a duplex near east New York Street and jefferson Avenue
