INDIANAPOLIS -- Three people from Texas on a nationwide crime spree may have been stopped following a burglary in Indianapolis early Saturday morning.
According to police reports, it all started at a Family Dollar store in the 5200 block of East 38th Street around 6:00 a.m.
The burglary was caught on surveillance cameras and police were called, according to police reports. Responding officers spotted the suspects’ car and tried to pull it over, but they wouldn’t stop.
Police chased the vehicle on the city’s northeast side until they drove into a dead end in the 2400 block of Arlington Court. Three people were taken into custody.
Dionte Flowers, 38, Justin Myers, 38, and Georgia Tottress, 29, all from Texas, were arrested and charged with burglary, theft and resisting law enforcement.
Law enforcement sources tell Call 6 Investigates that they are looking into the strong possibility that the trio from Texas was on a nationwide crime spree prior to their arrest here.
