INDIANAPOLIS -- Playing the popular Pokemon Go app may put your data at risk, Call 6 Investigates has learned.

Millions of people have already downloaded the app – many of them using their Google or Gmail accounts to do so. If you're one of those, along with downloading the game, you gave the app full access to your Google account – including your emails, contacts and search history.

Google says it's working with the app's maker on a fix.

If you want to disable the app from accessing your data, log in to your Gmail account, go to "connected apps" and disconnect Pokemon Go.

You will also want to delete the app off your phone and re-download it using a Pokemon Go account.
