INDIANAPOLIS -- You can expect an increase in your Indianapolis Power & Light bill.
State regulators approved a rate hike Wednesday, but it is less than half of what the company wanted.
IPL will be able to collect $29.6 million per year. It had asked for more than $67 million per year.
The company says it won't know exactly how much more customers will pay on average for a few more days.
It is the first base rate increase since 1995.
