An Indiana man has been sentenced for allegedly stealing more than 6,000 letters from their intended recipients.
Bryan Fisher, 35, was sentenced to more than three years in federal prison this week for breaking into P.O. boxes in downtown Indianapolis.
Investigators said his plan was to take checks from the letters, alter them and then try to cash them in at stores.
Fisher was caught using a crowbar on P.O. boxes inside a post office in 2014.
