INDIANAPOLIS – A massive hole, known for trappings cars (and fire trucks) has been repaired by Indianapolis crews.

In recent weeks, the Department of Public Works and Citizens Energy filled the hole at Waldemere Avenue and Lambert Street, nicknamed “Lake Waldemere” by neighbors.

“There was a lake in the middle of the road - it was beyond a pothole,” said Andrea Rosner. “You have to be persistent.”

Workers also installed drainage ditches that will improve street conditions during rainy weather.

“The ducks have to find someplace else to go now," said Rosner. “Very happy – everybody is very happy with what's been done here.”
