INDIANAPOLIS -- An observant off-duty IMPD officer may have saved hundreds of people's credit cards from getting skimmed Friday night.

According to IMPD Sgt. Catherine Cummings, the officer spotted a person acting suspicious near a gas pump on the city's south side.

The officer followed the vehicle to another gas station nearby and observed the same thing.
