On Friday, Call 6 Investigates learned a protective order had been granted to the complainant against Adamson.

Adamson adamantly denied the allegations Wednesday in a phone call with Call 6 Investigates.

“I’ve only recently become aware of accusations against me, which are completely untrue and without merit.

Unfortunately, it appears I’ve become a target of ridiculous accusations. These allegations of impropriety are false.  I can’t say that any more strongly."

No charges have been filed against Adamson.

The Marion County Prosecutor's Office has said it plans to seek a special prosecutor to review the charges against Adamson.
