INDIANAPOLIS -- Carrier's Indianapolis workers got new attention this weekend from a presidential contender.

A senior adviser for the campaign of Democrat Bernie Sanders stopped by Monday to meet with United Steelworkers' leadership.

That senior adviser, Larry Cohen, said the campaign is well aware of the number of Hoosiers who work in manufacturing, and of the impact Carrier's story is having across the country.

RTV6's Rafael Sanchez was present Monday for the meeting between the steelworker's union and Sanders' campaign. Watch in the video player above.
