Shop at Justice? You could get money back
Posted

INDIANAPOLIS -- If you’ve shopped at the tween store Justice, you could be entitled to money, thanks to a $50.8 million class action settlement.

Customers in Indiana are receiving post cards in the mail, notifying them that if they’ve shopped at Justice they could get up to $20 cash or a $30 voucher.

Call 6 Investigates did some checking and learned the offer is, in fact, legitimate.

Shoppers allege the retailer misled them by marking items “40% off” when the price was in reality the regular price.

The settlement generally includes people who purchased merchandise from Justice between January 2012 and February 28, 2015.

Court documents list 477,215 people in Indiana as part of the “class” in the class action lawsuit.

Call 6 Investigates was unable to obtain a comment from Justice on the mailings, however, the postcard says the retailer “denies all of the claims and says it did nothing wrong.”

Shoppers must submit a claim by April 4, 2016.

Claims may be submitted online at  www.JusticeClassAction.com.
