CAMBY, Ind. -- The Morgan County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the theft of propane tanks at a Camby business.
Thieves stole at least seven propane tanks from Daniels Market, a small grocery store on East Hadley Road, on October 28 at 11:50 pm.
Owner Betty Daniels said the market is now out $280 for the cost of the propane, plus they have to purchase new locks and keys for their cage.
The vehicle involved in the theft is believed to be a white Monte Carlo.

Daniels believes the thieves may be using the propane to make methamphetamine.
Daniels told Call 6 Investigates the theft happened within 30 minutes of workers locking up for the night.
