MUNCIE — Ball State University is offering free COVID-19 testing to students on Tuesday and Wednesday.

The testing will be held from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Tuesday and Wednesday at Worthen Arena. Students are asked to enter from outside at Gate One next to the ticket office. Students should walk around the building and not walk through the Jo Ann Gora Student Recreation and Wellness Center.

Students are asked to bring their cell phone and photo ID, according to the university.

The service is free and offered on a first-come, first-serve basis. The arena testing opportunity replaces planned testing at Scheumann Stadium for Tuesday and Wednesday, the university said. Testing will resume at the stadium on Thursday, Friday and Saturday as planned.

Through Monday evening, 380 students have been tested through a partnership with IU Health with 231 students testing positive, according to the university's COVID-19 dashboard. There have also been 312 students who have tested positive at other locations.
