ROCKVILLE — What is perhaps the state's biggest fall festival will not take place this year.
COVID-19 concerns are behind the cancellation of the 2020 Parke County Covered Bridge Festival. County Commissioners made the decision Monday.
The annual 10-day October festival showcases the county's 31 covered bridges with events in nine communities.
While the Covered Bridge Festival will not take place, organizers still encourage a visit to Parke County, about 60-miles west of Indianapolis. The bridges will still be there.
