IPS moves to in-person learning in phases

INDIANAPOLIS — COVID-19 is upending another school year, forcing schools to go back and forth between in-class learning and remote learning.

Over the next two weeks, Indianapolis Public Schools will phase-in in-class learning.

Next Tuesday, Jan. 19, Pre-K through third graders will be in-person. Fourth graders through 12th will be virtual.

Then, the week of Jan. 25, Pre-K through sixth grade will be in-person. While grades seven through the 12th will be on a hybrid schedule. Sixth graders in middle schools will be on a hybrid schedule.
