GREENWOOD — An individual at Center Grove Middle School North has tested positive for COVID-19, the district announced on Wednesday.

According to a letter sent home to parents from the Center Grove Community School Corp., all close contacts of the individual were notified on Wednesday by the Johnson County Health Department, Indiana State Department of Health or a representative of the school district.

Anyone who did not receive a call does not need to have their student quarantine.

The district said it will use an EPA-registered antimicrobial product for use against COVID-19 and an electrostatic sprayer system to thoroughly clean and disinfect all areas where the individual may have been in contact.

The district's announcement did not state whether the confirmed case was in a student or a staff member.
