LAWRENCE, Ind. -- The reward for the arrest of two men accused of robbing a Lawrence bank is now up to $20,000.
The robbery happened at the Huntington Bank on Pendleton Pike and Oak-Landon Road just after 9 a.m. on July 6.
Lawrence police say two men walked into the bank and demanded money from the tellers. They left with an undisclosed amount of cash.
The suspects are described as a 6-foot tall male with a thin-built and a 6 foot 2 inch tall male with a solid build. Both were completely covered in dark clothing.
A dye pack was taken and deployed inside the getaway vehicle, which was a white Mercedes Benz that had been stolen during a carjacking earlier in the week before July 6th.
The getaway vehicle was recovered in a nearby neighborhood. There is no secondary getaway vehicle information.
Huntington Bank is now offering a $20,000 reward for information leading to an arrest and conviction of the two men.
