ANDERSON, Ind. – An arrest has been made in the fatal shooting of a man outside an Anderson home Tuesday evening.
Anderson Police said 25-year-old Montez McCloud was shot multiple times in the yard of a house in the 1700 block of Jefferson Street.
Detectives believe it was the home of the shooting suspect.
Officers began questioning a possible suspect soon after the incident happened and witnesses were questioned at police headquarters.
James Stewart, 30, was arrested Tuesday night on a preliminary charge of murder. Police believe Stewart shot McCloud multiple times.
Police say some type of fight took place between McCloud and two women, leading to the shooting.
