Armed robbers held up two delivery drivers on the northwest side over the weekend

INDIANAPOLIS -- Armed men held up two delivery drivers over the weekend – both on the northwest side.

The first incident occurred early Saturday morning just before 1:20 a.m.

IMPD officers were called to the Scarborough Lake Apartments in the 6400 block of Maidstone Road on a report of an attempted armed robbery.

The victim, a 52-year-old female Domino's Pizza delivery driver, told officers two men attempted to rob her.

The driver wasn't injured in the incident.

A second delivery driver, this time a 28-year-old man, reported being robbed at gunpoint around 11:30 a.m. Sunday after delivering a sandwich in the 5600 block of Georgetown Road.

The driver described the suspect as a young male, possibly around the age of 16. No other information was available.

That driver was also not injured in the incident.
