INDIANAPOLIS -- A man has been arrested in connection with a body found dead in a dumpster on Indianapolis' east side earlier this year.
David Rojas, 49, is charged with murder for his alleged involvement in the February 18 murder of Jose Garcia-Lopez, 35.
Investigators found Lopez' body in a dumpster at the Spanish Oaks Apartment Complex near 38th Street.
According to court documents, Rojas was living with one of Lopez's coworkers at the time of the murder.
Investigators were able to connect Rojas to the murder based on a DNA match from a blood sample taken from his clothing and the clothing worn by the victim.
The murder remains under investigation.
