INDIANAPOLIS -- A man has been arrested in connection with the February murder of a young mother on Indianapolis' east side.
Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department officers arrested Antuan Cooper, 30, on Thursday.
Cooper is charged with murder for his "alleged involvement" in the February 24 shooting death of Candice Pigee, according to police.
The 26-year-old mother of seven was found shot to death outside a home in the 800 block of N. Rural Street. Detectives believe she was shot the night before.
Police have not said whether they expect any other charges to be filed in the case.
