An Arsenal Technical High School student was arrested this week for attacked and attempting to disarm an IMPD officer assigned to the school.
The 15-year-old student was arrested on charges of disarming a law enforcement officer, battery on a public safety official, resisting law enforcement and disorderly conduct.
According to the police report, the female student attempted to grab the officer's firearm twice during the altercation. She's also accused of striking the officer on the left side of the face.
No other injuries were reported from the incident.
