INDIANAPOLIS -- A man looking to sell a handgun ended up trading gunfire Saturday with the prospective buyer.
The deal was supposed to happen around 6:45 p.m. near the Exxon Mobil station at the intersection of 46th Street and Arlington Avenue.
Instead, when the seller arrived, one of the buyers pulled out his own handgun and stole the gun that was to be sold.
The victim, a 58-year-old Indianapolis man, then exchanged gunfire with the suspects.
No injuries were reported in the incident.
Police did not immediately release suspect information in the case.
